El departament d'humanitats de l'escola va decidir fer com a
treball pel 1714 recuperar un mural que hi havia al mur del pati de
l'escola amb els moments més importants de la història de Catalunya. El
mateix departament va escollir els temes del mural commemoratiu del 1714, definint quins moments es representarien. Després es va escollir un moment de la
història per a cada classe de totes les etapes (adaptat al curs i
coordinat amb els professors d'humanitats). Així, cada classe va
treballar un moment de la història de Catalunya i en va fer després un
dibuix.Una vegada acabada la 1ª part, el professor de Plàstica va escollir els millors dibuixos i durant el curs els alumnes els han anat pintant al mur del pati de l'escola sota la seva direcció.
